Frogham Hill, New Forest

This detached, Grade II listed, cob and thatched cottage, one part dating back to 1600 with a further extension added in 1700 provides a wonderful opportunity to take a relaxing holiday in the New Forest

  • 2 pets welcome
  • Enclosed garden
  • Woodburner
  • Available for short breaks

The cottage, whilst having all today's creature comforts of central heating, kitchen appliances and a super Aga cooker, very much still has an 'olde worlde' atmosphere, with beamed ceilings, flagstone floor, a staircase at either end of the cottage and a cosy woodburning stove. It really is like taking a step back in time.
The enclosed gardens surrounding the cottage are a real feature, with lawns, pond and waterfall, absolutely ideal for eating out al fresco and enjoying the tranquil setting. The New Forest is a glorious place to take a holiday, with its swathes of heather and little woodland paths, where the ponies, deer and cattle roam. Little forest villages with quaint shops, pubs and tearooms are all a short drive away.
