Our Maxidate Review
When we first joined Maxidate back last year our review of the dating site was not exactly glowing. However Maxidate have made significant changes to their entire dating and singles site recently. The first most obvious change is that they now offer many of their services totally free and have increased their membership database considerably.
Signing Up to Maxidate
Joining up to Maxidate is still very very simple and the whole process seems
to work well enough. In fact the site once you get past the main page is a whole lot clearer and cleaner in design than it was before. You can add up to three photos and was nice to see that a lot of the members profiles had pictures.
Once you have registered to maxidate for free you can browse the
site and search for members. The search facility has been improved by 100% you can now clearly define what type of member you are looking for and in what area. There doesn't seem to be an advanced search, but hey who is complaining it is free and at least you can search by area. You can also browse members online and new members and specify to just get results with photos.
From the users profile you can send a message, this is maxidate's email which is in fact quite good because you can use it almost like an instant messenger. You can send a wink to express interest or send a surprise. A surprise is a rather bizarre little animation that surprisingly had Russian text on my first one. Perhaps that was because it was sent by someone from a Russian speaking country. I will have to wait to receive more surprises to let you know about this.

Maxidate Conclusion
We have to say the new look Maxidate is a great deal better than it was before. Well it is free that helps a whole lot. There are a lot of members 1,937,904 when I wrote this and 3,524 online at that moment. They have a quite interesting forum which is well worth a look too. I received a decent amount of mail almost straight away and I hadn't even posted a photo (perhaps that's why :o) ) It has to be said though that their are a lot of members from former USSR countries and others that are known for their scams. Of course there are a lot of genuine people from these Countries looking for relationships, but its a fact that some are simply after money. Read the forum and follow simple safety guidelines like never sending any money to members or cash any cheques if you decide to joining Maxidate.
