Our Matchmaker Review
Matchmaker.com is one of the longest established online dating
sites with millions of members. Members vary in age but there is
a high proportion of over 35's based worldwide with a large proportion
in the USA, Canada and the UK. The web site is attractive, professional
and easy to use with some very nice features
Signing Up to Matchmaker
The sign up process on Matchmaker.com is quite straight forward
with a section of radio box type questions followed by longer essay
type descriptions of yourself. Some of the questions you are required
to ask I felt were unnecessary like your religious beliefs and faith
level. I also found there was too many essay type questions at sign
up and was relieved to find you could skip these and complete them
after sign up. These in depth questions can be useful when you are
looking at other members profiles.
One of the first things I noticed once signed in as a free member
was how simple and uncluttered the site is. A nice touch on your
home page is a small chart that shows you how many new members had
joined that week, 18055 on the day I joined ( impressive ) and 44
in my area wow. As a free member you cannot communicate with other
members. You can search For free you can show interest in a profile,
basically you click on a 'show interest' button on their profile
and they are alerted. To communicate with other members you need
to subscribe to a full paid membership these start at £24.95
for one month.

Matchmaker is a very large pro dating site with high quality profiles
and a clear easy to use website. It has active chat rooms advanced
features like Voice & Video Greetings. If you are looking for
a traditional style large online dating site with a slant on serious
