Our MatchAffinity
Review
Match Affinity is owned and run by Match.com, one of the largest
and oldest Dating Sites in the world. Match Affinity offers a different
approach to finding a relationship online, which is to try to understand
your personality and preferences and to match you with people who
they feel are compatible. In a similiar way to eHarmony his is achieved
by users filling out a questionnaire based on various psychometric
components that their dating experts have compiled.
Signing Up to MatchAffinity
You can sign up for MatchAffinity then go on to answer the 97 (
yes 97! ) questions to find out your personality type and your ideal
matches.
The questions are split into three sections.
- The first section concentrates on your system of values.
- The second section examines what's important to you and how
you live your life.
- The third section looks at your personality and the way in
which you interact with others.
As you would expect the site and sign up process is attractive
and well thought out, if a little bit exhausting. The matching process
is a bit looser than eHarmony and offers a bit more flexability
but it does still offer a lot of security. Photos are not automatically
viewable and you can ask to see another members photos, and of course
they can refuse and visa versa. So if your a bit shy and like to
get to know people a bit this type of online dating might suit you.
This system also emphasises the ethos of the site where personalities
matched for serious relationships are important rather than just
choosing members from their snaps.
