| What
eHarmony say about themselves
To date, eHarmony has enjoyed - and helped its members
to enjoy – outstanding success. We've met tens of thousands
of members, and created matches that have resulted in hundreds of
marriages, and thousands of relationships that are going strong.
Our eHarmony Review
eHarmony was founded in 1998 by relationship expert Dr. Neil Clark
and it's philosophy seem to be on matching people for long term
relationships. This might explain partially why eHarmony appeals
so much to woman. Unlike most Dating Sites where the men out number
the women greatly there is actually more female members than male
on eHarmony. eHarmony is very much a matchmaking site with emphasis
placed on the compatibility test.
Signing Up to eHarmony
Thee first thing you notice about eHarmony is it's clean, uncluttered
professional feel. Navigation is very easy and you are immediately
pointed towards the eHarmony sign up page. It is clear from the
onset that you are on a matchmaking site.
The sign up to eHarmony is a long and detailed questionnaire designed
they claim to a scientific formula to produce the best matches.
It is probably another reason why the profiles on eHarmony seemed
to be genuinely looking for lasting relationships and the ratio
of women is higher. This is common on a matchmaking site.
After the first page that includes standard information, age, sex,
etc. you start on the questionnaire. You are given a question then
you have to choose how you rate the various answers by picking a
number between 1 & 7. I suspect the questions on the first page
are for the sites benefit as they ask questions concerning your
preferences on features of Dating Sites.
After a page of two of questions I found the process tiresome,
(but this is not unussual for a matchmaking site) especially the
self description ones, and I suspect people might as I did choose
some random answers here and there. Fortunately there is the option
to save and return to eHarmony later. |
