I have been using Yahoo UK Personals on and
off for a while now. When the site was free there seemed to be a
lot of people on there who were not very serious or just seemed
to be looking for encounters.
Since it became a paid site the quality of
profiles is much better. I think if people pay (and the rates aren't
bad really) they tend to be more serious. Oh and there's a lot of
really cute men on there too. Also the ice breakers are great. Women
often feel uncomfortable I think about contacting men first, but
the icebreakers are a great way to express your interest and test
the water.

Yahoo Personals stinks for men. You spend
an age composing really impressive messages to get no response time
and again. I am sure this site is just full of females who enjoy
the attention and admiration they receive. I know , I know what
your going to say. All personals sites are the same, but I just
feel on Yahoo this is more of a problem. Maybe a lot of the females
aren't paid members, but even if they aren't they can still reply
to messages for free.
I used Match.com a while back and I found
the type of woman on that site where more responsive. Is it just
me or have other felt this way too?

I can only say good things about Yahoo Personals.
I joined a week ago after reading a review on this site and I have
been amazed at the responses I have had. OK I know this sounds like
a recommendation from a soup powder packet, but I really am very
impressed. It isn't just the amount of responses I have had, but
the quality of the responses. Some of them have of course been totally
unsuitable, but in general the men on Yahoo Personals are professional
and really quite dishey. Anyway I give it a definite four and half
out of five.
