Our MatchNet Review
One thing you notice from the home page of MatchNet.co.uk is how
much help is on the site. The subscription rates are not hidden
and you can view the very useful features section. You can run a
search by town before you register to get a feel of how many people
are in your area, and who is online.
As part of the MatchNet group that also includes American Singles,
JDate and Glimpse amongst others you know the site is going to be
a professional one.
Sign Up to MatchNet
You only need to select a username, password, email address and
enter your location details to become a MatchNet.co.uk member. You
can then continue to fill out more details about yourself or check
your mail for your activation code, and take a look around the site.
The rest of the profile questions are pretty standard with check
boxes to choose your most suitable answer. There is an option to
add up to 4 photos of yourself on MatchNet .
The free sign up on MatchNet doesn't allow you do do anything more
than browse around the sites features and search the profiles. There
is a 'tease me ' feature available to free members that that lets
you send quick pre set one liners to other members. You are allowed
30 of these.
I liked the Click™! feature. It appears besides a members
profile and you can choose yes, no, maybe to the question 'Think
you'd click?' if you click 'Yes' the member gets to know that you
like the look of them and check if they might like you too. If you
choose maybe you are asked again at a later date. If you choose
'No' it is kept secret from the member. |
