Our Lovers2 Review
First impression of Lover2 is that it is not the most professionally
designed site. Graphically it lacks flare in comparison to similar
priced dating sites. A quick search through the UK personals returned
some rather dogged photos and the layout left a lot to be desired.
Signing Up to Lovers2
Once you have filled in your username and a few details and been
presented with the lengthy users agreement, you can browse Lovers2
or fill in your personal details. There are sections on your appearance,
matchmaking, personality etc. and you can upload up to 5 photos.
Searching is well covered with advanced search options, search for
someone with a birthday and username search.
There seems to be a reasonable amount of profiles on the site but
the quality of the photos are poor. There seems to be little regard
for the size of thumbnails or quality. When you view members profiles
many of them have little or no personal details.
You can send an icebreaker to a member for free. This is a simple
message you choose from a list to instigate contact. You cannot
send mail or reply to mail, so ice breakers are pretty pointless
unless you want to subscribe. There is no way of knowing if the
person you are contacting is a paid member.
As a paid member you can join in live chat, send and receive messages
and mobile facilities. There is also a 'Billboard' service if you
sign up for premium membership.

only £90 and we'll arrange for your photo to be placed on
one of our billboards for a week in your chosen location. On top
of this you get full access to the site for twelve months allowing
you to send and receive unlimited messages '
Conclusion
Lovers2.com feels more like a free dating site. The subscription
rates are on par with some of the top dating sites that offer a
far better user experience and more services. If you fancy your
face on a billboard though it might well be the site for you. |
