Girlsweb is a totally free Uk only dating site for lesbians and
bi-curious women. It may lack frills but it does exactly what it
says it does. First impression of the sight is it is rather amataurish
with almost everything bright pink. Suprisingly though it seems
to work qute well qnd you can view the last 20 members who have
logged on.
Signing Up to GirlsWeb
Registering couldnt be easier. Choose a username and password,
enter email and age and your a member. As soon as you log in you
are asked to create your profile before you continue. The form for
this might have been made more user friendly by putting all the
form fields on one page. As it is you have to press enter after
each piece of information and load a new page with the next question.
Once you have completed your profile you recieve a message welcoming
you to the site. A little quirk here is that you have to delete
your messages or you cannot recieve any new ones. You can add a
photo at this stage and add extras to your profile. You can add
your post code for better searching and add instant messengerdetails.
There are some nice touches in the settings section where you can
choose who can see your profile, or contact you.
The search feature at first seems very simple, allowing only limited
narrowing down. When you look at a profile however you find that
you can click on the profiles characteristics like hair, eye colour
and it brings up a page of listings of other girls with the same
traits.
There is an option for webcam chat and a button for phone, but
it doesnt seem to be working. I will update if I can figure it out.
You can send as many messages as you like and read and recieve them
for free.
Conclusion
Girlsweb is not the slickest or proffessional site online but it
works well and seems to have quite a lot of UK lesbian profiles.
It is totally free and well worth a visit if your looking to find
new bi-curious or lesbian friends or dates
