I have only just registered for FriendFinder
and thought I would try the site out a little before I buy. Unfortunately
there seems to be very little I can do more than look around unless
I choose to pay. I am not sure if I should go ahead. Everything
on the site seems to work well and there appears to be lots of potential
profiles I would like to contact. Has anyone used this site? Would
you recommend I bite the bullet or try else where ?

I have been a Gold member of Friend Finder
for a while now and I would recommend you sign up James. You can
contact some Gold members while your using the free service but
only if they have paid extra to let free members contact them. I
am not sure, but I wouldn't think many people do this.
I enjoy the chat rooms and find that there
is always new people joining the site. I have met a few people which
were really nice but they didn't work out, but that was no fault
of Friend Finder.

No ! Try another dating site James. The last
poster might have had luck on FriendFinder but that's probably because
females have it easier on all personals. In my experience the site
is not much better than useless. I got the feeling while using it
that a large number of the members were free members who can't reply
to you even if you have paid your membership and made first contact.
Why can't they allow members to reply to paid members without the
additional cost like on many sites. Most sites offer free reply.
Or I believe that there is a site that allows women to do this .
sexist maybe, but I am well resigned to the fact that us poor men
have to pay one way or another in the end.
